​An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a not-for-profit at the heart of the education sector as Associate Director – Corporate Communications. The successful candidate will have experience across media relations, marketing communications, internal communications, events and stakeholder relations (including partnerships) and will have strong leadership capability, able to operate at a strategic level.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop a proactive thought-leadership PR programme and broaden out target media engagement

• Lead on reputation management and planning

• Work with wider policy team to develop key messages and relationships with Government bodies, trade associations and other stakeholder groups

• Develop an internal communications strategy and engagement plan

• Put in place an events plan

Candidates must have previous management experience ideally gained in third sector with large stakeholder groups – ideally education or membership body.
