The Role: Alternatives Product Marketing Executive (12 months interim)
We are seeking a talented Alternatives Product Marketing Executive to join our client’s EMEA Product Marketing team. Reporting to the Alternatives Product Marketing Lead, you will work on building, maintaining, and evolving the alternatives (hedge funds, private equity/debt, real assets, and alternative solutions) product marketing collateral suite.
Our client works in partnership with a broad range of clients including retail and private banks, institutional investors, financial adviser networks, and other fund distribution platforms. The EMEA Product Marketing team partners closely with the sales, product and investment groups to generate demand with clients and build our brand.
Maintain, update and evolve a broad library of new and existing Alternatives’ marketing content
Coordinate and execute the production of quarter/annual-end data updates to content, as well as updates needed following regulatory changes or requested by stakeholders
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and exceed their expectations
Drive process improvements to maximize efficiency
Provide excellence in delivery: accurate, on time, and on budget, while adhering to brand guidelines. Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, to create innovative and effective collateral to support product launches, Sales and Marketing activations
Measure how collateral is being used and the sales impact it is having to enable continuous optimization of the product marketing strategy
Be an active member of the wider Marketing team, developing an understanding of the overall marketing strategy and support its evolution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience working in marketing within financial services, preferably in asset management, banking or wealth management
Demonstrable experience working within the alternatives’ universe.
Attention to detail and proofreading expertise are a must
Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent project management skills including an ability to move projects forward and meet deadlines in a complex environment
Ability to translate sophisticated, complex investment topics into concise, digestible messaging and content
Driven, organized, self-motivated individual with ability to own and execute on a range of initiatives at once Intellectual curiosity, with an agile and creative mind, and the capacity to constantly innovate and think outside the box
Stakeholder management skill
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
Genuine interest and understanding of financial markets and the financial services industry especially the Alternatives universe.
