​Our client, a Financial Services PR agency based in Central London, is looking for an Account Manager to join their high performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing accounts within the Financial Services and FinTech as well as be driven to advance their career with a consultancy that serves a diverse range of clients.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have excellent content writing, media relations skills and be confident in interacting with businesses, journalists, and marketers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client relationships across within the B2B, B2C, Insurance, Legal, Asset Management, FinTech space

  • Developing new business opportunities and participating in pitches

  • Creating compelling content such as blogs and articles

  • Securing excellent regional and national coverage

  • Writing press releases and features

  • Managing social media platforms

  • Cultivating existing relationships with journalists and expanding media contacts

  • Supervising junior team members

  • Ensuring quarterly meetings are scheduled and conducted for each account.

You have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services and/or fintech sector

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Previous experience in a communications role, either in-house or agency, focusing on consumer and/or B2B

  • Established track record as an Account Manager or Senior Account Executive with outstanding client management skills

  • Proficiency in digital platformsPassion for communications
