We are working with a Financial Services PR agency based in the heart of London on an exciting PR and Social Media Account Executive opportunity. Our client is looking for digitally savvy Communications graduate keen to join the world of consulting with a varied set of clients across Insurance, Legal, Asset Managers, FinTech, etc.
You will partner closely with Account Directors and Managing Directors of the business to bring their clients’ stories to life in a creative, meaningful and engaging way on top of fostering social media and influencer relationships.
Your key responsibilities include:
Maintaining an updated diary of upcoming UK economic and business events and sharing it with the PR team to identify client opportunities.
Undertaking public relations work as directed by account management teams, such as drafting press releases and articles.
Distributing press releases to journalists and coordinating client and journalist meetings and events with the approval of account handlers.
Assisting in developing plans for clients and contributing ideas to generate media coverage.
Researching and monitoring sector issues to identify opportunities for client media commentary.
Assisting with the layout of pitch documents and client presentations.
Supporting social media and digital marketing efforts, including content creation.
Conducting research for pitches and marketing campaigns as directed by PR account handlers.
Organizing meetings, setting agendas, and facilitating quarterly client account meetings for account managers.
Maintaining an accurate timesheet, recording activities, differentiating between client-facing work and new business initiatives, and administrative tasks.

A passion for research, generating ideas, and being a quick, imaginative writer and editor.
The ability to convey ideas and concepts in a compelling, concise manner.
Digital and social media experience or a strong desire to develop skills in these areas, including video and SEO activities.
Support in integrated communications campaigns, collaborating with colleagues and clients from diverse sectors.
The ability to build excellent relationships and become an integral part of each client team.
Assistance with tracking, analyzing, and reporting on results.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other general computer skills.
