Demystifying Digital Transformation with Attul Sehgal

Earlier this week, VMA GROUP hosted our latest session in the Meet the Author event series. This time, marketing, digital and data centric professionals united to discuss all things digital transformation. We were joined by the brilliant Attul Sehgal, the author of the recently published book "Demystifying Digital Transformation".

​This excellent addition to the research surrounding the theme of digital transformation, provokes thoughts around best practice and utilising various business disciplines to achieve optimal and justifiable ‘transformation’. At its core, the book aims to act as a foundation of change whereby business leaders are encouraged to fully engage with their all important digital teams to dissect the noise that surrounds digital transformation, which has become somewhat of a corporate buzzword.

Once all sat comfortably, Attul Sehgal took to the floor and engaged the audience in an energetic presentation which included some excellent personal anecdotes. Unsurprisingly, AI was a hot topic during both the presentation and the discussion that followed. Sehgal explained that not enough business owners truly understand the limitations and functionalities of AI which he argued will be detrimental to overall profitability and will only become more obvious as AI is ever more widely used.
