The Mayhew Animal Home is an animal welfare charity operating across the UK and internationally. They provide expert veterinary care, rescue & rehoming programmes and guidance & support to better the lives of dogs and cats in need.
Having worked with us in the past, Mayhew called into VMA GROUP for support in recruiting a Marketing Manager to join the Marketing & Communications team. With ambitions to grow their visibility, they were looking for an individual who would act as a ‘brand guardian’ and develop a sector-leading brand, inspiring both current and potential stakeholders. While the role was not central to their online marketing activity, the marketing manager would be involved in developing integrated marketing campaigns driven by data and audience insights, as well as supporting and advising colleagues to embody a cohesive brand.
Other than seeking someone who rightly had commitment and compassion for animal welfare, Mayhew sought an individual with exemplary project management and problem solving skills, and who had the ability to inspire trust and enthusiasm across the organisation.
Following a briefing call with us, VMA GROUP’s Marketing Recruitment Consultant, Callum Williams got to work at finding the most suitable candidate. After a thorough search of VMA GROUP’s extensive marketing network, Callum came across a candidate who was highly experienced and had a strong background in the third sector.
