Tabitha Aldrich-Smith, VP Marketing & Communications, EutelSat OneWeb
From rockets to royal wedding cakes, Tabitha is an award-winning marketing communications leader who creates authentic corporate narratives to stand the test of time.
Tabitha has been with OneWeb for 5 years, leading the marketing communications from early funding stages, awareness raising, external and internal communications during special situations such as Covid-19, Chapter 11 and the Russia-Ukraine war and designing the amplification for all OneWeb’s 19 rocket launch missions.
Tabitha is responsible for the development of the OneWeb brand, including Responsible Space which has become an industry standard, the comms for the completion of the global constellation and 360 degrees marketing and communications (across PR and social, internal, board, brand, customers and partners).
She initiated OneWeb’s B2B partner program to support more than 50 distribution partners and initiated NPS measurement and a marketing digital hub and performance dashboard for the organization.
Tabitha was previously Global Communications Director for emerging market telecom company Millicom, Group Communications Lead for Whitbread plc and Head of External Communications for Samsung Europe. We look forward to hearing more about the role of communications in designing and delivering communications and operational integration during the recent multi-billion dollar merger between OneWeb and Eutelsat and its subsequent London listing of the new company.
