OpenDialog’s co-founder Dean Chapman approached our Senior Consultant Jack Pascoe after a referral from another SaaS company that VMA GROUP had previously done work with.
The VP of marketing would be responsible for a wide range of duties including creating lead generation campaigns, nurturing qualified leads through email, creating content, social media presence and much more.Although SaaS is a longer sales cycle, delivering poignant content is to be a constant so it was vital that Jack found someone who had a good knowledge of the marketing funnel, as well as being enthusiastic and always contributing towards the company’s growth.
After mapping the market and reaching out to experts and those marketing VPs who have trodden a similar path, Jack reached out to Pete through LinkedIn and organised the initial digital meeting. Pete had been at a larger organisation, for nearly a decade, a company that originally employed him as a one man marketing show, this was way back when they were a startup. Pete had great success delivering on their growth expectations, through the scale up and built a successful marketing function within a fantastic tech focused business.
Pete entered the process with OpenDialog with passion to move into a fast paced sector, with everyone touting AI as the fastest adopted business technology, through three rounds with the board and a presentation too, Pete was appointed as their VP of marketing where he will, no doubt, continue his successful career.
