Our client, a national education charity focusing on helping schools tackle educational disadvantage, is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join their Brand and Content team.

You will support with building the organisation’s brand and presence through social media channels, crafting effective social media and communications strategies. You will need to be strategic, with a willingness to deliver and produce content, and have strong copywriting experience.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead and manage the crafting of social media strategies aligned with wider brand, content and marketing objectives

  • Ensure social media and communications strategies enhance brand reputation and key messaging

  • Collaborate closely with the Content Manager to develop engaging and informative content

  • Utilize scheduling tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer, to plan and schedule content across multiple social media channels

  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on social media campaign performance

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in social media management for an organisation or brand

  • Strong experience of planning and delivering effective social media strategies that align with organisational objectives

  • Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to translate complex communications into understandable and targeted content

  • Knowledge of SEO and algorithms

  • Experience of collaborating and communicating with key senior stakeholders

  • Desire and commitment to work in the non-profit sector
