Senior PR Executive

​I’m working with a really exciting, purpose-led organisation to help find them a Senior PR Executive. This position would be well-suited to someone with prior experience in a press office or PR executive role looking to take the next step and further their career. You will need to be on site in London Bridge 3 times a week. This role is full-time and permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee our in-house press office function in support of our media relations strategy, including:

  • Taking the lead on the day-to-day press office activity, watching for media trends and keeping the internal team informed, being the first point of contact for journalist enquiries;

  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases, corporate news stories, pitches to journalists and case studies;

  • Briefing key journalists on our work to secure accurate and positive media coverage;

  • Developing briefs and key messaging for spokespeople and to support our narratives.

  • Developing our media monitoring and evaluation processes and systems, including sharing daily coverage roundups and relevant news with the wider business and keeping our PR management platform up to date with all activity;

  • Owning and maintaining our media and communications calendar, media lists and publication subscriptions.

  • Support the media and communications manager to deliver the organisation’s innovation communications strategy and showcase our work in the innovation and electric vehicle space.

  • Provide copyediting and proofreading support for the organisation’s corporate publications.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience working in a communications or PR role, either agency or in house.

  • Experience of building and developing relationships with the media.

  • A keen eye for detail and excellent copywriting skills, with specific experience of writing press materials.

  • Ability to work effectively with many different external and internal stakeholders.
