The opportunity

My client, a leading French international bank is looking for a Senior Media Relations professional to join their group function based in Paris. While this role sits within the headquarters, they are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of the Anglo-Saxon media including relationships with top-tier Financial media outlets in the UK.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of Media Relations, you will be:

• Developing media relations strategies for the group function and key business lines within the UK

• Building and maintaining press relationships with influential UK financial services media outlets

• Planning and executing global and group level media campaigns

• Providing sound advice to senior executives within the business on media interactions

• Acting as the key point of liaison for all media relations related inquiries between the group function based in Paris and the local team in the UK

The ideal candidate

You will have experience in a busy media relations team and come with established relationships with top-tier UK Financial media outlets. You will have a sound understanding of Financial Services as a sector either from working in house or in an agency (prior experience working in a bank is advantageous).
