​​Exciting new opportunity for a PR Manager to join this FTSE 100 Telecoms business. You will be responsible for developing and executing the External Communications strategy for the Networks side of the business.

Key skills & experience:

• Support the CTO and the Networks Leadership Team with a coherent unit communications plan.

• Manage events and stakeholder relations programmes relating to Networks and Research programmes.

• Ability to translate technical and complex information.

• High level of understanding of the strategic technology areas of focus, and be able to represent the portfolio to target audiences in a credible, relevant and compelling way.

• Coordinate with Internal Communications and other functions for alignment of messaging.

• Proactively pitch relevant media, including trade (b2b tech/telecoms etc) and top tier nationals. Respond to reactive queries and manage issues/crisis communications for the Networks business.

• Act as a business partner for Networks and feed into the wider business.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, supporting the CTO and other execs – identifying any suitable media opportunities where relevant.

• Story-telling with data – you will have strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences.

• Support and manage PR agency.

• B2B Tech/Telecoms experience is required – this can be from in house or agency side.
