A global professional Services company is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join its London team. You will be a strategic and trusted advisor, highly capable media relations professional with specific responsibilities for developing and executing PR, media, and marcomms programmes designed to enhance the reputation and awareness of the company and its practice areas which encompass banking, FS, Fintech and crypto. This includes engagement across all external channels, including earned, paid, social media, website (blogs and podcasts), media relations, and events.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and executing PR, media, and marcomms programmes

• Managing proactive press outreach and reactive media and building relationships with key media

• Handling strategic writing projects; acting as a central resource to develop messaging, drafting press releases, preparing case advisories, writing/editing website content

• Placing byline articles, and creating opportunities to leverage thought leadership for press commentary and marcomms campaigns

• Helping to mentor and develop PR colleagues

• Contributing to leveraging the firm’s social media programmes to support promoting the expertise and work of the practice.
  

Key skills required:

• Relevant public relations and marketing experience (at a PR agency or in-house)

• Demonstrable experience and understanding of specific practices and industries relevant to the role

• Excellent leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving and decision-making) necessary for effective management

• Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.
