​Fantastic opportunity for a PR Manager to join a well known celebrity chef owned food/hospitality/media group. This is a 12 month FTC to start in June.

You will be responsible for the tactical execution of all consumer PR activity across the Group. This covers activity across key areas of the business - media, products, commercial partnerships and international restaurants - and you’ll work to maximise opportunities and protect and enhance the reputation of the business and brand. You will have exposure to work across high profile launches in the UK and Globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and implement engaging consumer facing PR campaigns across the group’s portfolio.

  • Manage media events including press launches, screenings, set visits and international media junkets.

  • Reputation management, ability to identify and flag potential issues/crisis and react accordingly.

  • Advising and briefing senior executives/talent for media opportunities/appearances.

  • Work with the in house marketing, social media and content teams to execute and monitor key campaigns to maximum effect, including working with influencers and creating campaign assets.

  • Run the day-to-day press office function for all incoming media enquiries.

Key skills:

  • Proven Consumer PR and media relations experience. You will bring with you amazing contacts across all media platforms and are able to deliver stand out PR coverage against ambitious targets.

  • Prior experience setting up international press events/junkets.

  • An excellent understanding and knowledge of social media and a keen interest to stay up-to-date on key developments in that space as well as the wider food and entertainment industry.

  • Experience of dealing with contentious press issues, and creating succinct press statements and briefing documents.

  • International media experience would be helpful, but not required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and in a creative and fast paced environment.

  • Experience in media, entertainment or food & drink sectors would be helpful but not mandatory, this can be form agency or in-house side.
