​Are you a skilled media relations professional? Here is a great interim opportunity for an immediately-available contractor to take on a four-month stint in the busy press office of a leading university in the southeast.

You’ll need an interest in higher education and a passion for sustainability, a key priority for this south coast institution, which is proud to be one of the most bio-diverse universities in Europe.

In addition to press office knowhow and a nose for news, you’ll also need the ability to navigate complex research and turn it into accessible, engaging content and impactful messaging that makes an impression across a range of channels. Some background in crisis management, social media and a good understanding of how to deal reactively and effectively with fast-moving issues would also be extremely helpful.

Working within a collegiate and high-achieving team, the role offers very flexible hybrid working so you should consider whether you’d be available to make occasional in-person visits to the office.
