VMA GROUP is currently searching for a Managing Consultant to join its team. The position will focus on providing ‘Marketing Recruitment’ support to organisations across the UK and internationally, across all industries.  In addition, this position will play a key role in developing and growing VMA GROUP’s Marketing Recruitment practice. The Opportunity  

We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional to join our Permanent Marketing Recruitment practice. Someone with excellent relationship management skills, a proven commercial mindset and a genuine team player. And importantly, someone that is keen to build and lead a team. This is a great opportunity for someone ambitious to develop their people management and team management experience in an established recruitment business. 

Responsibilities with be varied and broad, as you might expect in a senior recruitment position, including:  

• Build a market leading recruitment team focused on marketing and digital recruitment  

• Hire, develop and lead a team which operates across specific targeted sectors 

• Recruit at a senior level across marketing and digital industries  

• Support the development of VMAGROUP’s brand as a marketing and digital recruitment provider, through events, thought leadership and strategic marketing, working in partnership with VMAGROUP’s in-house marketing manager, UK Executive Director and CEO 

• To actively progress the practice from a reactive environment to a highly proactive one  

• Network and develop relationships with senior marketing and digital professionals across sectors  

Experience & Skills Required: 

• Demonstrable recruitment consultancy experience, ideally in the marketing and, or digital (but we are open to other sector backgrounds)  

• Ideally some established people management experience, or the interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and ambition to build a team and develop your experience in the role. 

• Ambition to develop your career via a team management route, from Managing Consultant, through to Director 

• A track-record of commercial success
