VMAGroup is working with a global consumer finance organisation who are searching for an Investor Relations and Communications Executive. The IR and Comms Executive will support the Director of Investor Relations and Communications, as well as facilitate efficient and effective delivery of the Investor Relations and Communications global programme.

This role is responsible for:

  • Create meeting briefing materials for senior management ahead of investor meetings, including for CEO, CFO and COO
  • Manage requests for meetings with senior management, and dealing appropriately with sensitive data
  • Support the IR & Communications team plans to drive improvements in processes, making suggestions where appropriate
  • Plan and execute a range of internal and external events (with the support of the IR Manager) including 1-2-1 investor meetings, roadshows, site visits, conferences and investor seminars
  • Plan and manage logistical support for the company results announcement including notification emails, timetable and briefing of external suppliers
  • Manage requests from investors for meetings with the Director of IR & Communications and other senior management, including CEO, CFO and COO
  • Manage the IR database of contacts, maintain the IR calendar & manage the investor mailbox
  • Manage process of writing up investor meetings
  • Provide logistical support for delivery of special strategic communications projects, to include:
  • Co-ordination of meetings and the planning and execution of internal events such as workshops
  • Managing the project programme tracker

In addition to the above, you will provide administrative support for the Director of IR & Communications and the Global Head of Internal Communications, including:

  • Managing the distribution of Plc materials and announcements to internal audiences
  • Maintaining up-to-date internal lists
  • Manage the business continuity process for the IR & Communications team
  • Co-ordinate and book travel arrangements and manage diaries
  • Management of incoming/outgoing communications on behalf of the Director
  • Co-ordinate and manage all internal and external visits
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office and monitor, report and analyse costs

Experience will include

  • Experience in investor relations and communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an engaging manner

  • Strong organisational skills with high standards of accuracy, quality, attention to detail and time management
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and needs

  • Good standard of written communication skills
  • A professional approach with a highly developed understanding of the need to act confidentially
  • Excellent office software skills – Microsoft PC, Apple
  • Excellent Microsoft pc skills, Windows – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, Outlook
  • Ability to handle sensitive data in a professional and confidential manner
