​The role:

Working within an international workspace, our client is looking for an Internal Communications and Events manager. You will work collaboratively with different areas of the business to help connect colleagues and maintain an engaging, supportive environment. Areas of work will include Sales, HR, Finance and Legal services.

This role offers variety: you will be expected to work with a large employee workforce, building relationships both internally and externally. You will produce written and video material concerning business activity and team news. Additionally, you will work alongside the senior marketing communications manager to organise and run several events throughout the year.

Other tasks include:

  • Analysis of current employee engagement levels

  • Ensure the implementation of metrics

  • Establish and develop supplier relationships

  • Deliver a calendar of internal events raising money for a variety of causes

Target driven?

Our client is looking for visible results in employee engagement and executive leader communications reading stats. You will help achieve the number of views for company video and blog pages via the business intranet page (SharePoint).

About you:

You are a highly motivated individual with excellent project management skills and previous experience working in internal communications. You will have proven experience in creating high-quality, targeted written and visual digital content. You are a team player with a positive attitude and have an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Our client requires the following skills:

  • Previous campaign planning and management experience

  • Change communications experience

  • Basic understanding of digital platforms (Yammer, Workplace, Unily etc.)

  • Previous events management/planning experience

  • Experience communicating to a global and dispersed audience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint

  • Experience working in the technology sector (beneficial but not essential)
