​I am working with a brilliant property company in London (with flexi working, 3 days in office, 2 days from home).

The internal communications manager is the eyes, ears, and internal voice of this organisation. Working closely with PR, Media and Digital colleagues.

Responsible for:

  • Keeping colleagues engaged.

  • Cascading and landing our four strategic elements and key milestones.

  • Continually supporting and delivering the change narrative as we evolve and adapt.

  • Connecting our colleagues with the right information, at the right time.

  • Being the curator and conduit for all internal communications, across multiple channels, locations and countries (UK, France and Ireland) working with all levels and across all teams.

About the role

As the IC Manager, you’ll be working to ensure colleagues across the business are connected and kept up to date with the company’s vision, goals, projects, executive updates, and performance by leading strategic internal and executive communications programmes.

You will work across our teams and assets to deliver the corporate and communications strategy and evolve the corporate story. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with superb interpersonal skills and a passion for creating multi-media content. The role will build a strong culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire the community of colleagues.

Core Responsibilities

Working cross-functionally, across our assets and teams to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery, you will:

  • Produce and deliver colleague communications and events.

  • Develop, author, and deliver a variety of internal and executive communications including CEO and colleague presentations, announcements, blogs, video content and key messages.

  • Manage internal communication channels (intranet, all colleague events, email, video etc.)

  • Ensure the company intranet is relevant and up to date.

  • Create and maintain the internal communications tools including editorial and activity calendar (linking with key activities in asset), asset library and glossary of terms.

  • Support leadership and company meetings: You will help craft the messaging and programme through agenda, speaker selection and logistics.

  • Research and share internal insights, case studies, stories and quotes across assets and offices.

  • Deliver and manage company engagement survey, company conferences and events.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience within Internal Communications in a senior and/or ‘sole role’.

  • Effective internal communication and employee engagement skills with a track-record of delivery.

  • Experience of taking ownership for, and managing communication channels, particularly intranets and campaigns.

  • Ability to write and develop engaging content.

  • Event management and project management expertise, enabling delivery from concept to completion.

  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with team and other internal functions, such as marketing and HR.

  • Experience of working with external agencies.

  • Outstanding copywriting skills (English) and the ability to adjust style for a variety of audiences and channels.

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering internal content through video, voice interviews, vox pops and reels (alongside more traditional intranet, email etc.).

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with brand transformation and change programmes.

  • Previous experience in the property industry.

  • Video editing and use of graphic design software (e.g., canva, InDesign).
