An organisation in the healthcare industry is looking for an Internal Communications Manager on an initial 10 month contact.

Due to growth over the last 12 months, the Senior Internal Communications Manager requires some extra support to deliver the IC strategy. The board understands the importance of internal communications and keeping all employees engaged in this challenging time. This is a broad position covering channel management, stakeholder management, change communications (technology) and campaign management, supporting on wider business initiatives such as D&I, wellbeing and sustainability.

As this is a small communications function, the role will suit a self-starter who has experience building stakeholder relationships quickly, whilst working remotely. The ability to deal with ambiguity is also key as there is lots of change in the organisation and multiple  projects to manage at one time. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will need to have experience producing content for, and advising, senior business leaders.

This position is an initial 10 month contract through to the end of 2021. However, the hiring manager has indicated a strong likelihood for a longer term requirement in the function, so it very well could be a ‘temp to perm’ opportunity. During lockdown, this is of course a remote role, though over time, if and when restrictions are lifted, there may be an expectation to work from the London office.
