Our client is looking to hire an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner to advise the CFO and broader Group Corporate Functions with strategic communications and direction.
As an experienced Business Partner, you will be responsible for bringing the company's vision, purpose and values to life. You will be an excellent storyteller, on-site journalist and creative thinker.
We are looking for someone who can bring our client's strategic ambitions, visions and inspirations to life by increasing employee engagement and leadership visibility.
Internal Communications for colleagues and employee engagement business partner to the CFO team within Corporate Functions, supporting and providing counsel to CFO and senior leadership team
Develop, implement and measure strategic colleague communication and employee engagement plans for key campaigns, change projects, programs and crisis issues
Work with the CFO leadership team to ensure effective prioritization and alignment of communication and employee engagement activities.
Develop and deliver employee engagement campaigns for specific functions and support with Group-wide communications when necessary
Support the Senior Colleague Communication & Engagement Manager to develop, deliver and measure colleague communication and engagement plans, strategies and activities to support initiatives, issues, announcements and projects within the wider business, including but not limited to: Quarterly financial results, Cost transformation programs, Scorecard and financial performance
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including the investor relations team and external communications team, as well as peers to ensure alignment and timeliness of internal and external messaging.
Work with stakeholders and peers to plan, develop, deliver and measure strategic colleague communication & engagement activities.
Provide communication support for the implementation of functional transformation and change programs
Develop, deliver and measure multi-channel colleague communication and engagement content, translating narrative into engaging, inspiring and impactful communications
Develop, deliver and measure leadership visibility and engagement plans
Develop and implement leadership engagement and culture change programs, working across the People & Culture function
Stay abreast of key colleague communication and engagement trends and best practice, by bringing the outside in, and encouraging new and innovative ways of thinking and working across the function.
Participate, when required, in the company’s crisis communications procedures.
Work with external agencies to develop colleague communication and engagement campaigns
Experience and skills:
Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to key communication and policy decisions by anticipating and interpreting internal and external trends.
Ability to sensitively manage announcements and gain the trust and support of senior executives.
Able to communicate to a high standard, highly articulate and a proactive leader and influencer.
Able to manage competing issues, working with, and through others.
Strong understanding of the use of digital tools to deliver effective employee communications, based on data and insight.
Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build and maintain a network of internal relationships at senior levels across the business.
