I’m currently recruiting for a Head of Communications role at one of the largest universities in the UK.  With the nation emerging from the pandemic, their union is looking to re-establish their offerings.

The union supports student engagement through their bars, food retail (including a Co-op franchise), nightclub and live music events.  This role is responsible for:

• Managing a Communications Manager and Marketing Lead
• Designing and executing a communications programme to promote the above
• Developing their channel strategy across a number of social media platforms as well as radio and newsletter
• Creating online digital content and campaigns to increase reach and impact of LUU’s news and activities
• Reactive PR – national

This is a 6 month contract paying £250/day via umbrella company (or £300/day for a 4 day week).  You will need to be available immediately or on a notice period of no more than 4 weeks.
