One of the nation's biggest residential property development companies is looking for a Head of Employee Communications on a 12-month maternity cover contract starting in December, paying £70,000 - £75,000.
Reporting into the Group Corporate Affairs Director and managing an Employee Comms Manager, this role will have responsibility to work with the Executive Leadership Team to set out and implement the internal communications strategy. The successful candidate will also be managing all internal channels and leading on internal events, from celebratory long service award dinners to group leadership conferences with 350+ attendees.
There will also be a key focus on sustainability campaigns, linking with the business’ values and supporting the business’ trust by promoting charitable initiatives across the group.
This role starts in December and will require two days a week in the central London office.
Develop and implement employee communications strategy, to achieve the Group’s strategy and aims
Setting up and maintaining the annual employee communications plan
Managing the development of internal communications campaigns
Liaising with group functions and divisions, plus creative/digital agencies for the production of communications collateral
Liaising with group PR agencies to source and keep abreast of new content and images
Liaising with divisions and functions to source content
Managing the setting up and running of Survey Monkey feedback surveys after each event
Supporting other functions with the delivery of their events and providing expertise and guidance
Working with the Head of the Foundation to support the Foundations aims, including promoting charitable initiatives across the Group
