A leading consumer brand is seeking a senior, data-driven digital marketing leader to support ambitions growth plans.

Acting as the 2IC to the Marketing Director this is a key role to shape and deliver the digital marketing strategy, managing a multi-million pound budget and a small growing team.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Design and implement the digital marketing strategy
  • Manage and oversee all digital marketing channels and campaigns
  • Establish and iterate customer segmentation and targeting, using best practice data science techniques
  • Set up and implement a best-in-class analytical capability to optimise ROI
  • Develop, optimise and innovate website design and content to differentiate face-to-market
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitor digital marketing developments and evolving market best practices and new technologies
  • Engage and structure new digital partnerships to improve online lead generation through own and 3rd party channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to deliver quality creative and marketing messages aligned with our brand and broader marketing strategy
  • Set and manage the digital marketing budget
  • Lead and develop the digital marketing team

Ideal candidates will have significant experience in design and delivering marketing campaigns, taking a scientific and agile approach to test, learn and optimise across target audiences.

  • Extensive digital marketing experience gained in a large-scale entrepreneurial consumer environment
  • A proven track record of evolving and advancing online marketing strategies
  • Strong budget management
  • In depth, practical knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and CRM software (ideally Salesforce)
  • Experience of working with 3rd party managed service suppliers and agencies
  • Knowledge of website design and SEO techniques
  • Leadership to inspire, motivate and manage the digital marketing team
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
  • High-level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Outstanding leadership, team and people development skills -with the ability to inspire, engage and influence
