An exciting digital organisation looking to re-brand and IPO in 2019 is looking for a Head of Corporate & Brand Communications to be a strategic and operational communications expert and leader. They will be an important support and advisor in communications questions for executives, senior managers, specialists and experts throughout the company.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Developing the organisation’s vision and narrative as a digital leader and bringing this to life through effective communications strategies and tactics
  • Own the development of the brand strategy and its articulation and implementation
  • Leading on the financial communications around the IPO in H1 2019
  • Providing leadership for comms teams globally and creating an internal community of communications advisors and brand experts
  • Media relations internationally; proactive and reactive media handling
  • Co-ordinate all press inquiries
  • Develop and launch our communications strategy
  • Manage regular cycle of regulatory, financial and Board communications
  • Continuous proactive and reactive issues management
  • Crisis management/communications – in case of crisis situations in offices or media crisis
  • Line management of the Communications and Events Specialist and any further team members added

Work Experience:

  • Experience working for growth organisations
  • Building communications strategy, teams and managing agencies
  • Advising and supporting with C-suite level stakeholders
  • Supporting an organisation through a re-brand
  • Experience in financial communications, M&A communications and ideally have supported an organisation through an IPO

Travel:

  • The role requires regular international travel

Language:

  • The candidate will be expected to have strong articulation skills in English, both oral and written. Strong language skills in Spanish/or French is an advantage.
