Energy company is looking for an experience stakeholder comms manager to join their communications team and focus on project comms. Managing the messaging and process for planning application and public consultation projects.

Working across different projects this person will coordinate strategy, plans and messaging ensuring work with press, public affairs and local community relations agency is aligned.

They will:

• Need to have previous public consultation and planning application comms experience, understand different processes and how devise strategy, plan and messaging

• Develop strong relationships with key press on a national, regional and local level (aligning working with press team)

• Develop strong relationships with key political and community stakeholders (aligning with public affairs team)

• Build up a bank of content, position statemenets and Q and As for individual projects

• Act as spokesperson and advise on reputation management

• Support press office team as needed

Flex working is two days a week in the office.
