Role Overview:

The Digital Project Manager will ensure all the digital platforms are best in class handling the role for the next 7 Months as Maternity Cover.

Implementing the latest thinking on digital best practice for the website and wider suite of

digital content.


  • Plan and manage the delivery of a range of digital development projects, products and experiences ranging from campaign microsites to data visualisation and digital tools

  • Manage and maintain a strong relationship with our external digital agencies including overseeing the annual website development budget.

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary project team to lead the technical build or development of a range of digital projects and platforms

  • Plan and manage upgrades and improvements to Nesta’s intranet, working closely with our internal stakeholders.

  • Support the website editor and content team to ensure all content on the Nesta website is published to the highest digital standards and represents Nesta’s tone of voice and editorial house style.

The Person:

  • Proven experience and established track record in digital projects management including responsibility for external corporate websites and intranets

  • Sound knowledge of UX principles and accessibility and clear comprehension of digital best practice, including user centred design, customer experience, accessibility and SEO.

  • Proven ability working as a digital project manager or owner in an agile environment managing project documentation such as backlogs, customer journeys, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Experience of using data and insights to inform decision making

  • Proven experience in digital project delivery, managing relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders

  • Procuring, and managing ongoing relationships with, external digital agencies
