Communications Specialist

An energy membership organisation is looking for a Communications Specialist to join their corporate team. You would be responsible for communicating the products and developments of the London Office to staff and members globally, as well as supporting the implementation of the Communications Strategy. Responsibilities include media relations, publications, social media, website content and events. You would also liaise with and support communications staff at their regional centres in the US, France, Russia, and Japan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and implementing communication plans for relevant projects
  • Supporting the Corporate Communications Director and London Office Communications team to implement the Global Communications Strategy and increase the organisation’s profile
  • Recommending, developing, and implementing innovative approaches to build awareness of the organisation’s mission with key internal and external audiences
  • Preparing press releases, speeches, presentations, marketing, and event materials
  • Working with the London Office Communications team to generate and edit content for the  intranet, website, and social media
  • Monitoring the organisation’s  presence in the print, online and broadcast media
  • Managing an online calendar of speeches and presentations
  • Assisting with event coordination and material preparation for corporate events
