​I’m looking for an immediately available Comms & Marketing Business Partner to take on a part-time, interim role at one of the UK’s largest family-owned construction, property services & development companies.

You’ll be working with the company’s development arm, which is responsible for some of its most high-profile and profitable projects, and will need to be able to visit its offices in Surrey on a semi-regular basis. This small but business-critical division is in growth mode and seeking to strategically expand its profile.

Reporting into the Director of Communications & Marketing and working closely with the Managing Partner, you’ll be comfortable operating in a matrix structure and will need the gravitas and credibility to challenge, advise and cajole senior leaders.

You’ll likely be an accomplished marcomms generalist who fully grasps the broad comms and marketing mix and is especially skilled in key areas like thought leadership, digital & social media and content planning & creation. You’ll also have the nous to swiftly identify target markets and be agile enough to swiftly adjust the approach when necessary.

If you’ve previously worked in a construction or development business, it’d be helpful but is by no means a dealbreaker so please don’t let that put you off. The real key here is skillset and approach as well as an appetite to work on a 3 days per week basis.

This role will pay circa £350 per day (inside IR35) for an initial term of six months with the possibility of extension. Please get in touch with me ASAP if it sounds like you.
