My background

After graduating from the University of Leeds with a joint honours degree in Geography and Sociology and not knowing exactly what I wanted to do, I was attracted into recruitment.

I immediately landed a researcher role with Guy Roberts at Pelham International, one of the top five banking search firms in London. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by this industry leader, and gained invaluable experience working on senior-level roles with Tier 1 global banks.

When Pelham launched Pelham Legal as their first foray into the legal private practice market, I was chosen to help launch this new practice, and I made several successful placements in a short space of time.

I progressed into a significant and successful stint in legal search: I helped build up the finance practice for a number of years with Rachel Compton and David Crocker at Montresor Legal, the boutique pure legal search business.

In 2016, I joined VMAGROUP as a consultant as part of the largest Internal Communications and Employee Engagement recruitment practice in the UK, where I have finally found my calling.

My specialisms

I focus on internal communications roles at all levels for the South-West of England, where I am originally from, and mid-level internal communications roles in London. I recruit for internal communication roles across all sectors from Legal, Banking, Technology to Consultancy.

As a recent addition due to the success of my placements with global US brands, I am also leading on our work in New York, with senior internal communications roles on retained searches, an area we have not previously operated within.
