Having worked with us in the past, Mercer called into VMA GROUP for our assistance in seeking out an Internal Communications Consultant to join their Impact team.
This person would be responsible for supporting financial services clients by providing advice, tools and services to help them communicate effectively with their employees through times of change. Keeping employees informed and prepared to welcome change is essential for positive employee experience and retention. Therefore, developing and implementing strategies to do so, as well as creating high-quality content and tactics to deliver the messages across channels, played an important part in this role.
Since the role was client-facing, hence requiring the ability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, our specialist IC recruitment consultant, Hannah Ricketts, decided to seek a candidate who had proven experience working with clients and had a clear passion for communications. It was also important that the candidate had strong writing skills and an awareness of online solutions to help with the delivery of communication materials.
