​In 2019, VMAGROUP conducted 24 in-depth interviews with CEOs across Europe. The aim was to explore CEO thinking on communications and the role of the contemporary communications function. This is very much a qualitative survey. We do not present our findings as the last word on the subject or as in any way representing “the truth”. Rather, they are a snapshot of current ideas and perspectives, intended to provide CEOs, communications professionals and other business leaders with diverse and sometimes challenging food for thought.
