You can literally change the life of an individual by placing them in their dream job! Not a lot of jobs can have this kind of impact on someone’s life. But you can even impact those who don’t land a job this time by coaching them.
I played field hockey for 20 years, and I like to compare sport and recruitment …Let me clarify: It is obvious to almost everyone that you are making a huge difference when you successfully recruit top talent into a sport team (I’m sure that if my team succeed to recruit Jamie Dwyer, things would be much different…) In some cases, a single new hire who you bring in could create a major innovation or a new product worth millions.
