On Thursday 2nd of May February, we hosted another of our Digital Communications Stars networking events here at our VMA Group office in London. And this time, we were lucky enough to take the event out into Bedford square and enjoy the afternoon’s sunshine!

Led by our digital practice, the regular event provides a fantastic opportunity to bring our community of digital communications pros together. Across different sectors and career levels, attendees share best practice, stories of success and challenges, and all manner of digital comms insights.
We were also very lucky to have Jason Cross along to speak about the work Incentivated are doing in the world of mobile marketing, and the exciting ways they are developing text messaging, mobile internet sites and apps to deliver cutting-edge communications and marketing campaigns. Some fantastic case studies were shared and discussed, as Jason explained the potential for mobile and how it can “bind your customer interactions and marketing together.” I hope to share a blog with more insights on Jason’s insights soon – stay tuned!
“The DigiStars drinks are a great way to touch base on the latest developments in social media. It is becoming the water cooler of London’s IC e-space. You don’t want to miss it.”
Silvia Cambie – Simply Good Advice – @silviacambie
“The detailed stories that Jason shared on what could be achieved with mobile provided lots of food for thought, and you could tell that others enjoyed it by the number of questions that were being asked.”
David Badham – Marketing and Strategy Consultant
“The insight has been really useful, and I can take away these things I’ve learnt to help me in my job.”
Justine Ragany – Seven – @WhatJusThinks
With lots of networking going on in the room, the conversation continued on Twitter via the #vmadigistars hashtag.
Be sure to view our summary video of the night too, and thanks to Dušan Tomić (@ Pictopunk ) for capturing the evening on camera.
If you’d like to be a part of our digital communications community, drop me a line here at VMA Group, or Tweet me via @VMADigital. And if you know any great digital communications people, do share this blog with them so they can join our community – with such great feedback, I hope to arrange more of these gatherings in the near future.
Again, massive thanks to those digital communicators for coming along and enjoying the sunshine and insights with us on the night.
