​VMA Group, the leading corporate communications, marketing and digital recruitment company, is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its most successful and profitable area of the business as it experiences high levels of growth.

Reporting into the Head of the Contract Practice and owning contract vacancies across our corporate communications practice, this role will enable the successful candidate to manage client relationships across all sectors and all disciplines of communications, including media relations, PR and public affairs. Working in a consultative, not transactional manner, we pride ourselves on our long standing client relationships and currently have preferred supplier agreements with global FTSE100 businesses as well as start-ups and SMEs.

Successful consultants can come from various backgrounds including ex-communications and marketing professionals, in-house talent acquisition specialists, agency recruiters or sales professionals, so if you have experience in any of these areas and this role sounds of interest, do get in touch!

The hiring manager will be interviewing in December with a view to the successful candidate starting in January.

Experience Required

  • Either previous recruitment/sales experience OR experience in communications/ marketing field

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Good listening, questioning and influencing skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks through to completion

  • A positive, adaptable and flexible attitude is required as you will be dealing with all levels and cultures of candidates and clients

  • Business acumen
