PR Manager (12-month FTC)

Here is a super opportunity for a skilled media relations pro to join up with the progressive multi-national consultancy behind some of London’s most iconic buildings of the 21st century.

With a huge story to tell and a footprint in more than 40 countries, the business is looking for a confident, proactivePR Managerwith strong, muti-channel editorial skills and a nose for news, initially on a 12-month FTC basis.

This is a global construction organisation with a genuinely entrepreneurial mindset and an notable track record of delivering a number of impactful regeneration schemes over the last two decades.

You’ll be responsible for the development & delivery of Group media strategy, as well as supporting the ownership and performance of its media channels.

With the ability to identify opportunities in national, trade and broadcast media, you’ll need solid experience of pitching to the press, to understand how to engage proactively with journalists and be entirely comfortable handling inbound media enquiries, which will often lead to drafting responses & securing appropriate sign-offs at pace.

This pivotal role will suit someone at home developing media briefings for senior leaders and playing an active part in creating, testing and executing crisis comms strategy. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to help build the brand by producing engaging thought leadership content that tackles industry challenges and responds to market opportunities.

Do note that some experience in medium-to-large-scale corporate settings and/or a working knowledge of the construction and consultancy industry would definitely be a clear advantage.

This is the sort of values-driven environment in which you’ll thrive if you bring new ideas and where innovation is heard, actively encouraged and regularly embraced. And with strong, engaged leadership, it is a great opportunity for you to further build your career within a multi-national organisation in robust growth mode.

With hybrid working at its central London HQ (circa 3x days per week), you’ll sit in the External Communications team and be a key member of the wider Marketing & Communications function.

If this sounds up your street and you’re available now/imminently, please apply right here or get in touch with me directly at bmitchell@vmagroup.com ASAP.

Due to a high volume of applicants, we are unable to respond to everyone. We will get in touch if you are successful in your application.
