Superb opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a leading global consultancy firm. 

London based, hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 from home). 

We are looking for an experienced Marketing professional to join the Global Investments Marketing team, to deliver an always-on marketing programme to an institutional client audience. 

The role reports to the Head of Global Investments Marketing and will collaborate closely with the Events, Product and Content colleagues across the team. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

This is an exciting new position created to support the growth of the team and of the investment business, with two important focuses: 

  • Plan, manage and execute marketing campaigns to support a series of global institutional investor events

  • Collaborate with various teams firm-wide to create and enable cross-channel marketing campaigns and content designed to increase awareness with new client segments (such as wealth managers or insurance), and of new products/solutions

  • This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced marketing professional who has a background in institutional investment marketing to join our growing team

  • You will play an integral role for end to end marketing activities across all channels

  • You will be responsible for the institutional investor events marketing programme

  • You will support the development and delivery of new segment campaigns

  • The role is multi-regional as our team deliver firm-wide programmes, content and assets to key markets (US, UK, Australia, Europe) and growth markets (Asia, UAE). These regions are our clients - they localise and implement our campaigns 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Our global Marketing team delivers a full program of institutional investor events and we will rely on you to drive the marketing program. This involves partnering across marketing to enable and support regional distribution efforts for each forum, run and own the existing marketing programme to improve customer engagement and sales conversions

  • You will influence and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, representing marketing at the events’ weekly steering groups attended by senior business leaders, and present latest customer engagement reporting and campaign progress; you will own the whole invitation process, develop content across offline and digital/social channels, and implement digital promotions, working closely with our social media team

  • Working closely with the Head of marketing and Head of New segments and channels, you will deliver innovative marketing campaigns supported by sophisticated B2B investment content to drive consideration of new client segments and especially insurance (previous exposure to insurers is a bonus). These campaigns are cross-channels (email, social, virtual conferences targeting “new segments” over multi-regions), written by our team’s investment writer

  • Liaise and develop relationships with the company-wide marketing community of functional experts (creative, social, PR, web, campaigns, events) and the local marketers as a key aspect of the role

  • Our marketing programme has become more data-driven than ever, therefore the marketer needs the ability to handle complex data sets in order to analyse data more effectively to improve and report on the performance of our programme

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Min 3 years' strong experience in all-rounded marketing

  • Strong knowledge of funds and/or Institutional investment marketing

  • Experience of promoting virtual events through fully integrated marketing campaigns

  • Ability to handle Marketing data sets using Excel (summarising event registrations with pivot tables, analysing registrations and origin, filters, etc.)

  • Confident presenting skills

  • Experience of collaborating across teams, businesses and time zones

  • Creativity, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage end to end events and other campaigns that help to drive our overall vision

  • Understanding of compliance requirements is a pre-requisite
