Location: West London (3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home)

We are working with a brilliant FMCG organisation that is looking for an Internal Communications Manager who will own and deliver internal communications across the business, creating engaging and effective communications which inform and inspire colleagues.

Key deliverables:

  • Own the communications content calendar

  • Regularly review and manage communications channels, ensuring all content is relevant, easy to engage with and reflects pladis’ branding and tone of voice.

  • Support delivery of the people strategy through clear comms around HR programmes, health and wellbeing, EVP and Inclusion and Diversity.

  • Measure and report on effectiveness of communications activity and identify areas of improvement.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders on critical projects and campaigns – this may involve leading on an activity or contributing to initiatives with relevant comms expertise.

  • Partner with HR and Sites to manage content for key internal communication channels and platforms including digital screens, and Workplace, with responsibility for ensuring content is relevant, easy to engage with and distinctive.

  • Lead on regional town halls/all hands meetings 3-4 times per year and deliver the region newsletter each month.

  • Partner with Site Leadership teams and the Site Experience Team to agree the communications approach, then implement channels (both centrally and locally-owned) and content regularly that keep non-desk-based colleagues informed and engaged.

Experience needed:

  • Internal communications experience (within FMCG desirable)

  • Versatile copywriting skills, with a sharp eye for detail.

  • Creativity and imagination, but ability to prioritise, work collaboratively, respond to feedback, see the bigger picture and stay calm whilst working to time frames.

  • Ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders

  • Ability to multitask and work to time frames with changing priorities, tight time frames and budgets.

  • Ability to travel to sites and other locations across the UK several times per year.
