​We are looking to recruit a Digital Communications Manager to come on board and join our clients growing team. This is an exciting time to join their business.

You will report to the Head of Communications and work closely with the Chief Communication Officer (CCO) and work very closely with the external agencies that support the business with different aspects of communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing and implementing the Digital Communications Strategy to increase brand awareness, brand reputation, and online presence.

  • Work closely with the CCO and Head of Communications to create corporate content which will be used on the company’s social media channels and website to increase brand awareness and reputation.

  • Monitoring the SEO and web traffic metrics. You will define the necessary KPIs and manage the various online measurement tools.

  • You will manage and report on paid social and create communications dashboards to update the Executive teams with the results and recommended improvements.

  • Managing the social media posts, engaging with followers and finding new ways of engaging with the audiences.

  • Create original and impactful content that is in line with the company’s image and brand guidelines ensuring the content supports the business’s goals and company views in a creative manner. content which will then be used across multiple channels internally and externally (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).

  • Oversee the various social media accounts, ensuring they are up to date and in line with company brand guidelines

  • Develop and maintain the social media policy and guidelines, to support the development of social media competencies and understanding across the wider business.

  • Collaborate with the Scientific Communications Manager and the Scientific team to create scientific content which will be used on the company’s social media channels and website in response to news updates and to proactively further and enhance their external reputation.

  • You will work closely with the Head of Communications and Human Resources team to create employer branding content which will be used on their social media channels and website, to support the company’s recruiting and retention efforts.

  • Define target audiences, develop and implement digital communications campaigns to increase brand awareness and company reputation and define on how and when to engage with their followers

  • Perform research on their competitors and benchmark their social media and online performance

Experience

  • We are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Digital Communications Manager with in-house and agency experience, and you are looking to take that next step in your career.

  • You will be both strategic and delivery-focused and looking to take on more responsibility.

  • You will have excellent communication skills, confidence and gravitas when working with the leadership team.

  • Be creative and create engaging and impactful content which will be used across a variety of different internal and external channels.

  • A trendsetter and follower by keeping up to date with the latest trends, platforms and techniques to increase engagement and traffic.
