Communications Lead (Brand & Campaigns)

This is a brilliant new opportunity for a creatively-minded corporate communications pro to join a multinational telecoms & consumer technology leader in a highly-influential role.

Working as part of the wider Corporate Affairs function and side-by-side with colleagues in the Brand & Sustainability teams, you’ll be instrumental in developing & implementing multi-disciplinary thought leadership campaigns that reinforce my client’s reputation at the cutting edge of B2B technology and advance its strategic business goals. These ongoing campaigns will include global brand positioning, ESG and sustainability so a proven track record in those areas would be valuable.

I’m looking for an experienced campaigner who can navigate the complexities of paid, owned and earned media with equal aplomb, someone with a data-curious mindset who can forge strong media relationships and convert big concepts into genuinely impactful messaging that really lands.

Reporting to the Global Head of Public Relations, you’ll know how to leverage social & influence as channels to drive effective media engagement and understand just how impactful thought leadership can positively affect this enduring brand’s strategic positioning as an innovative industry leader. Strong written skills, reliable editorial judgment and a forensic understanding of the global media landscape are, naturally, a must.

This is a critical role at a global organisation almost perpetually in transformation mode so you’ll need to be resilient, organised and feel utterly at home running multiple integrated programmes simultaneously. In return - and because this is a brand-new position - you’ll have plenty of opportunity to shape things and develop best practice from the word go.

While it’s the core skills we’re looking for here, a B2B background would be a good idea and, if you’ve any exposure to the technology or telecoms sectors, all the better.

This role is UK-based and offers a significant amount of remote working potential if preferred with occasional travel to European sites on an ad hoc basis.
