Germany beckons for communications recruiter
Global recruitment and headhunting specialist VMA Group has extended its international network by expanding into Germany. The Group has made a strategic decision to widen its reach across Europe, by creating a hub in Frankfurt. The move, says the company, is in response to the opening of what has traditionally been a relatively closed market.
To mark the launch, VMA Group hosted a programme of events to showcase best practice across the communications function. These included a social media masterclass, co-hosted by Nike, as well as a sharing breakfast for heads of communications. The former was attended by 40 communications professionals; the latter by representatives from organisations including CMS, Allianz, Deutsche Bank, Vattenfal, EY and Accenture.
Feedback from both events was resoundingly positive, with attendees agreeing that VMA Group’s approach to providing contemporary analysis, sharing best practice, and building communities is a fresh and welcome approach to specialist recruitment in the local market.
“At VMA Group we work with a number of global companies that have offices in various locations,” said Willem de Ruijter, executive director Europe at VMA Group. “These companies have come to know VMA Group as a reliable partner in sourcing the best available communications talent locally, across Europe and internationally. The expansion into Frankfurt was a logical decision, from the perspective of both companies and communications professionals, allowing us to start our operation from a position of strength.”
